What this notice covers
Cookies are small values stored by a browser. Browser storage includes local storage and session storage. Tadswap uses essential browser storage to make the interface work and to remember choices made on your device. This notice forms part of our Privacy Policy.
Essential Tadswap storage
Tadswap may use essential storage for:
- your visual preferences, including the selected light or dark theme;
- wallet connection or compatibility state supplied by wallet libraries;
- private transaction-status links saved on your device, so you can return to a transaction you created; and
- security, rate-limit, and session continuity functions needed to protect the service.
A saved private status link can provide access to transaction-status information. Avoid using a shared device, and clear local storage if you do not want another person with access to the device to open a saved status page.
Restricted administrative session
The restricted Tadswap administrative area uses an authenticated, HTTP-only session cookie after an authorized administrator signs in. This cookie is not used to create a public customer account or to track ordinary visitors across unrelated websites.
Third-party browser storage
Wallet software, WalletConnect-compatible services, selected exchange providers, and hosted fiat checkout providers may set or read their own browser storage when you connect a wallet or leave Tadswap for their service. Their own cookie and privacy notices apply to that processing.
Non-essential storage
Tadswap does not intentionally deploy advertising cookies. If we add non-essential analytics, preference, or advertising storage, we will update this notice and request consent where required by applicable law before enabling it.
Your choices
You can delete or block cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Doing so can disconnect a wallet, remove saved status links, reset preferences, or prevent some features from working as expected. For privacy questions, contact privacy@tadswap.com.
Updates
We may update this notice when our storage practices, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date and version identify the current document.
